Laurel { Maternity }

Laurel and her husband Alex are expecting their first little bundle of joy in the next two weeks. This fall maternity session was one of my favourites to date. I've had this idea forever now to accentuate an expecting mama's beauty with a beautiful floral crown... and I finally got to see how it would look through my lens! Not to mention we were lucky enough to be blessed with a beautiful fall evening with the most perfect soft light. 

A very talented group of people worked together to create Laurel's look... I recommend each and every one of them. Savannah Belsher-McLean (Makeup) did an incredible job at accentuating Laurel's natural beauty by applying some beautiful fall tones. Christie at Absolutely fabulous gets credit for the beautiful hairdo. Heather Panton from La Belle Nail Boutique gets credit for the lovely nails (Seriously... I go to her every 3 weeks and she is amazing at what she does). Hearts and Flowers gets credit for the breathtaking centrepiece of our session... the stunning floral crown. Finally, Paraska's Place created the "with love in her heart and flowers in her hair" sign. I'm using this beauty as decor in my office as well as for sessions!

The Peters Family

This is the fourth year I have taken photos of this family, with the youngest little man being the newest addition last year. Each time I capture memories for them I fall more in love with their personalities. The boys love chatting with me and telling stories which helps to keep our sessions natural and filled with fun. How can you not love these gorgeous faces?

Peyton { Newborn Photos }

Little miss Peyton is a beauty. Her mom is a pretty good friend of mine and I was honoured that she trusted me with capturing some of her little gal's first memories. There is nothing sweeter than a love a mom has for her baby.. you can feel the love radiating from each photograph.

Okay... can I just say this now? I love the name Henry. It's such a classic name and suits this little guy to a tee. This beautiful little boy made my job easy... there was absolutely no fussing, and he even took a couple of opportunities to pose for the camera. I'll be capturing more memories for this family later on in the fall... they also have two little sweet girls to add to the mix!
